2. Golden Temple, Amritsar

The Golden Temple of Amritsar is the holiest place of the Sikh religion. It is also known as Harmandir Sahib. Hazrat Mia mir ji laid down the foundation stone in 1581. It has 953 very beautiful and attractive small latticed windows called jharokhas.

This palace is located in the main thoroughfare of the commercial center of Jaipur. It is part of the City Palace itself and extends to the Mahila Sadan. Amber Fort has located 11 km from Jaipur city in Amber, Rajasthan. It is one of the major tourist spots in Jaipur. Amber Fort is a four-walled fort with Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas for public and private purposes. Diwan-e-Khas includes Sheesh Mahal and Sukh Niwas. The water fountains in the pillars of the fort keep the fort cool even in summer. The entrance gate of the fort includes a temple of Mother Shila Devi. Two forts, Amber Fort and Jagad Fort, are connected by a Sarung. The main purpose of this Sarung was to transport the royal family from Amber Fort to Jagad Fort during the war, which was more secure than Amber Fort.
